The Mills of Muehlgraben

Description

The Muhlenbach Valley, descending from the heights of the village of Helfranzkirch, is dotted with mills dedicated to flour and oil. The mills are set in a rustic landscape of villages, hills, fields and forests. These mills are a source of amazement. They offer many possibilities for tours and walks, but cycling remains the ideal way to discover many of the local treasures along the small country roads through the towns and villages of the Pays de Sierentz. Buildings, religious heritage and other traces of a rich past will give you a new look at the local history of Southern Alsace.
