Mulhouse and its Surroundings

Museums unique in the world, a singular and exciting history, a colourful historic centre, a rich and partially restored industrial heritage, street art and traditional art, Mulhouse and its region has all this waiting for you!

Are you on a bike? No problem! Near the Vosges and at the intersection of 3 EuroVelo routes (EV5, EV15 and EV16), the Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération is labelled a “Cycle Territory” by the French Cyclotourism Federation. So, you can find appropriate infrastructure and services throughout the territory, including at tourist sites, as well as at participating accommodation and restaurants.

Discover exceptional sites such as the Cité de l'Automobile, the first automobile collection in the world, the Cité du Train, the largest railway museum in Europe, the Écomusée d'Alsace, the largest eco-museum in France, and the Parc du Petit Prince, a theme park inspired by the work of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

By bike, follow one of the 3 loops of less than 40 km around Mulhouse, or the streets of the city with thematic tours of the City of Art and History. What about taking a rest to follow the digital tours on the Circkwi app? The opportunity to explore themes such as contemporary art, street art, Old Mulhouse or 19th century Mulhouse.

For advice, or simply to take a break, the Tourist Office and Convention Bureau of Mulhouse is at your disposal. Labelled as a Cycle Territory, you will find maps, repair material, places to park your bike and fill your water bottle.
