Sundgau
Found in the south of Alsace, at the crossroads between Switzerland and Germany, Sundgau is known for its beautiful, rustic, timbered houses, but also its many lakes, magnificent landscapes, medieval castles and authentic heritage.
With a vast territory that includes 33 mountain bike circuits for more than 700 km of cycle routes, 9 bicycle tours including 100 km of cycle tracks, and countless hiking trails, Sundgau is also an ideal region for green tourism. From the plain to the mountain, carefully maintained and signposted paths allow you to discover all the beauty of the Jura mountains, as well as the Ill and Largue Valleys.
You can also discover an unmissable gastronomic programme: the Fried Carp Route, which brings together some thirty restaurateurs who offer this emblematic Sundgau dish.
