Sacred Art of the Sierentz Region

Through the first hills of the eastern Sundgau, you will discover the beautiful villages of the Pays de Sierentz with their half-timbered houses, their remarkable churches and chapels, their calvaries and other crosses. This tour, over 37 km long, is suited to the most hardened cycle tourists, who will be rewarded with the beauty of this hilly and verdant landscape. Not to be missed at the end of the tour: the Mémorial de Haute-Alsace. The Aechenbach casemate in Uffheim is one of the 32 structures built in the Sundgau region between 1936 and 1940 to reinforce the famous Maginot Line.
