Route 71 / Etape 1: Dornach - Balsthal

The route leads from the Goetheanum, an imposing concrete building with remarkable architecture, home to the Society for Universal Anthropology and the Free School of Spiritual Science, and which is integrated into the landscape of a bustling conurbation, to the high plateau of Gempen, planted with cherry trees. To reach Blasthal, you will have to climb two steep, flowery Jura passes that are overlooked by ruins perched on steep cliffs, standing like sentinels.
